Here's a bridge designed and made by John Patterson for his octave mandola




Attached is a photo of the mandola bridge based on your design fitted on my flat top octave mandola.

I took the your mandola template and modified it to suite my Acoustica Mandola. Of cause the bottoms of the feet had to be flattened and I had to reduce the height considerably but I am very satisfied with the end result. To prove the point after I had the new bridge fitted a few days I refitted the original solid bridge and the difference was most noticeable. The instrument was much more lively with more volume and better tone with the new maple bridge.
